Since EAA Canada has 12 chapters, I am going to suggest that each chapter submit an article for Bits and Pieces once a year. Ideally that would be done monthly so that we'd have timely submissions. Articles don't always have to be current, but generating a rhythm for when submission is needed would help everyone. Each chapter probably has several events each year that would be of greater interest than just to your own chapter members. Remember that, largely due to our expansive geography, 55 percent of Canadian EAA members do not or can not belong to a chapter. They would certainly like to feel included by hearing about activities from existing chapters, especially regarding building aircraft, workshops, and events.
Twelve Months, Twelve Chapters

What I would like to suggest is in each chapter someone takes the ball and runs with it. Not all chapters have a newsletter editor, or even much of an organized hierarchy, so I write this to every Canadian chapter member out there. What I would like you to do is to, among yourselves, nominate one person who will be responsible for submitting an article once a year. I would also ask that, if possible, you choose a preferred month or two when you would be able to submit. I could then allocate months to each chapter to generate some timing around the process. You can contact me at newsletter.EAACC@gmail.com.
I hope that you can agree with this and look forward to 12 positive, sustainable responses.
