You may be wondering about AirVenture this year, so I think it’s important to let you know that your Canadian Council and loyal volunteers WILL be there with all our usual organization. The decision to attend is distinctly personal, but your organizing committee and stalwart volunteers will be there investing our time and energy for you. We hope you’ll decide to come, too. That said, much of the attendance at our talks in the Canadian Pavilion is from our American friends, looking to learn about flying in Canada. Hopefully, those presentations will be as well received as in the past.
That said, we have a great issue this month. I hope you enjoy it. Thanks as always to our contributors. We have articles about flying in the Ozarks, discovering northern Manitoba, a first-time fly-in visit to AirVenture, and a very nice article about Air Cadets which as the proud dad of a daughter who got her pilot license that way, I really enjoyed. Our chairperson, Raquel, has an important message for you, so please make sure to check it out.
As always, please don’t hesitate to contact me, Ian Brown,newsletter.EAACC@gmail.com, and thank you to those that did. I try and reply quickly, but if you haven’t heard back from me please don’t hesitate to reach out again. Feedback on our newesletter and anything you would like to communicate to your Canadian Council is always welcomed
