EAA Canada Council Update

EAA

November, 2022 – Your Canada Council meeting recently resulted in some significant changes. The memberships are supposed to last for three years and automatically expire. In fact, both Jeff Seaborn, chair, and Ian Brown, secretary, had been on the council more than six years even though we had added some new faces. At the meeting on 20 September, both Jeff and Ian resigned their roles on the council, making room for greater participation by some of the newer faces. In particular, it was announced that Raquel Lincoln, treasurer of EAA Chapter 63, at Lyncrest Airport in Springfield, Manitoba, has been nominated by Jack Pelton to be our new chairperson. Please join your Canada council and membership in welcoming Raquel to this important role. Her energy and insight will bring a lot to the role.
