I'd like to thank everyone that made our Canadian presence at AirVenture a huge success. Members of the EAA Canadian Council led all the initiatives we offered, from the new and improved venue, coordinating the presentations, the social events, down to the details like complimentary WiFi, and cold water and hot coffee to kick off each morning. We owe tremendous gratitude to the planning skills of Phil that made our Little Canada camping areas possible.

Kudos and gratitude to all of our presenters, to Les and Charl for bringing their aircraft to be on display, and to all of the volunteers that worked at our Canadian Pavilion. We are grateful for the Canadian companies that had booths with us: Wing Armor, Pegasus, Aero Sport Power, Global, and COPA. We greatly appreciated having representatives from Transport Canada join us as well.

Last year, we asked for your feedback on AirVenture 2023, which was integral for us to improve in 2024. We ask that you take a few minutes to complete this survey, to provide us with input for next year.

I invite you to email me your ideas for presentations next year. As soon as your ideas come to mind, email me right away! chair.eaacc@gmail.com.

We have received a great deal of excellent data from our insurance survey. We will be meeting with the EAA insurance team and are hopeful it will result in positive changes. In an upcoming issue of Bits and Pieces, I'll provide some insight into what you told us in that survey!

Lastly, we continue to advocate for general aviation in Canada. We collaborate with other organizations to be a unified voice for our aviation community. Please contact me as you see trending issues of concern that threaten our freedom as aviators in Canada.
