Home Again?

Hopefully, those of you that attended AirVenture had a marvellous time. I'm aware that not everyone goes, but those of you that did, I encourage you to send me an article about your experience. We all saw the same air shows, but there were other discoveries made, that could be shared. Think about what you did that was out of the ordinary. It doesn't have to be long, a couple of paragraphs and a photo or two.

The person I would really like to thank this month is Michael Martin. I must have driven him nuts with repeated emails about submitting something, so if you're in the Toronto area and happen to see Michael please give him a huge pat on the back. He wrote us a great article about the Canadian CF-18 artwork. There were too many photos for an emailed newsletter, and I couldn't make the choice which to exclude. He also sent us an article about bringing pets to AirVenture. You may remember that, at one time, there was a reserved area for camping with pets. A few years ago, this was changed to “pets anywhere” but with strict rules, which Michael covers in his article. He makes some great points, and I hope you enjoy his articles.

I say this almost every month, but it's worth repeating. All contributors do so at no charge. Even the photographers, of which there are many this month. Please thank any that you meet for their hard work.

If you do have an article to submit, please send it to me at newsletter.EAACC@gmail.com.
