June 20, 2019 - Lockheed WP-3D Orion Hurricane Hunters operated by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration help collect data vital to tropical cyclone research and forecasting. The WP-3D Orion is equipped with an array of scientific instrumentation, radar, and recording systems for measurements of the atmosphere, the Earth, and its environment. You can visit the NOAA P-3 on Boeing Plaza July 24-28 during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh.
