One Week Wonder to Appear at AOPA Frederick Fly-In

  • EAA’s One Week Wonder
EAA’s One Week Wonder Zenith will be at the AOPA Regional Fly-In at Frederick, Maryland, on June 7.

June 4, 2015 - EAA encourages members in the Frederick, Maryland, area to attend this weekend’s regional fly-in hosted by the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) on Saturday, June 6, at the Frederick Municipal Airport. EAA participation ranges from Chapter 524’s pancake breakfast 8:30-10 a.m. to a special appearance of the One Week Wonder Zenith CH 750 Cruzer built at AirVenture last year.

EAA Chairman Jack J. Pelton will attend, as well as EAA Young Eagles Chairman Sean D. Tucker who will present a seminar, “The Importance of Challenging Ourselves,” at 11:30 a.m. at the Main Stage. EAA members are encouraged to attend, bring their families and experience the camaraderie between our two organizations, which together create a formidable foundation of support for general aviation.

“These are great events for EAA because they embody what our grassroots organization is all about,” Pelton said. “We get to interact with members whom we might not otherwise meet face to face and learn what’s on their minds. We’re also thrilled to continue working together with AOPA in promoting and growing GA throughout the country.”
