Lightspeed Headset Winners Announced
May 12, 2016 - Oliver Coolidge, EAA 735628, of Portola Valley, California, and Mike Mower, EAA 1036980, of Indian Trail, North Carolina, are the first quarter winners in the drawing for Lightspeed Zulu headsets, provided for eligible Young Eagles pilots by Lightspeed Aviation. Both Coolidge and Mower were automatically entered by returning Young Eagles flight registration forms for flights completed in the first quarter of 2016.
Coolidge is active in Chapter 20, and has flown Young Eagles for the past five years. Mower has also been flying Young Eagles for five years, and does so as an active member of Chapter 731.
Pilots are automatically entered when we receive the Young Eagles registration forms mailed in after each flight. All pilots who fly a Young Eagle between April 1 and June 30, 2016, will be eligible for the next random drawing. Young Eagles pilots are encouraged to send in their Young Eagles registration forms as soon after the flight as possible.
“Lightspeed Aviation continues to be a valuable partner with the Young Eagles program and really understands our mission of growing participation in aviation,” said Brian O’Lena, manager of EAA Young Eagles and Eagle Flights. “We’re extremely grateful for their continued support in 2016 by providing these quality headsets to the Young Eagles program.”
