Lervold Tabbed as President of CubCrafters
January 22, 2015 - CubCrafters Founder and CEO Jim Richmond has named Randy Lervold president of the company. Lervold has served as general manager since 2009, overseeing a period of unprecedented growth for the 35-year-old company.
“When Randy joined CubCrafters in 2009, he bought a fresh perspective to our business,” Richmond said. “I have asked Randy to take the lead as president of CubCrafters, and I will assume a more ‘hands off’ role as CEO. Randy will continue to manage day to day operations as he has, but will now concentrate on building a leadership team that will allow the company to fully realize the opportunities ahead.”
Lervold said he is excited about his new role and the company’s potential.
“For the past five years we have worked toward building not only best-in-class aircraft, but a great aircraft company as well,” he said. “That is the path we will continue to follow.”
Lervold will announce additional senior management changes during the first half of 2015 while Richmond focuses on product development and other growth opportunities.
