April Is National Volunteer Month
Cassie Bruss, EAA Human Resources and Volunteer Programs Director
April, 2023 –
April is National Volunteer Month, and an opportunity to especially recognize those people who give their time, talents, and themselves to make their world a better place. EAA knows the importance of volunteers. They make everything happen for our organization throughout the country.
Volunteers engage with EAA, not only during AirVenture, but in year-round capacities as well. From supporting our air tours operations, assisting our ground teams, hosting tours in our museum, engaging in Young Eagles events throughout the country, and assisting in various tasks in our print/mail center. Volunteers touch almost every aspect of our organization, and our continued success depends on each and every one.
If you subscribe to this newsletter, but do not yet volunteer with EAA, I encourage you to reach out! We have many opportunities throughout our organization and throughout the year. If you’d like to volunteer with a friend or family member, we have various examples of multi-generational families volunteering together to instill the value of community service. If you have a special skill set that you’d like to bring to EAA, we can find a spot for you! EAA is wonderful organization to be a part of and an amazing opportunity to give back to our aviation community.
You can always reach me at cbruss@eaa.org.
Until next time!
