New KC-46 Pegasus Coming to AirVenture 2019

June 13, 2019 - A Boeing KC-46 Pegasus, the newest tanker in the U.S. Air Force inventory, is scheduled to appear at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019.

Developed from the Boeing 767 airliner, the KC-46 first flew in 2015 and is currently being phased into service with the Air Force. The intention is for the KC-46 to eventually replace the older KC-135 Stratotankers.

The KC-46 is expected to arrive on the evening of Monday, July 22, go on display on Boeing Plaza on Tuesday morning, and depart on Thursday.
