Restoration Garage TV Series Features AirVenture, Museum

February 9, 2017 - The popular Restoration Garage TV series on the Velocity Channel has aired its episode featuring EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2016 and the Bugatti Model 100 airplane in the EAA AirVenture Museum, highlighting Oshkosh to a worldwide audience.

The segment, featuring David Grainger and Janice Stone of the Guild of Automotive Restorers in Canada, is available via the Velocity website. It first aired on February 3. NOTE: You may have to sign in with your TV provider, either cable or satellite, to access the program.

Among the highlights are EAA board member Cody Welch with the Ford Tri-Motor he flies, and a look at Grainger’s Bugatti Aerolithe auto restoration parked next to the Bugatti Model 100, where those priceless items were on display at the EAA museum last summer. Plus, there are plenty of highlights and scenes that will take you back to last summer’s aviation extravaganza.
