Calling All Volunteers for Young Eagles at AirVenture

May, 2023 —  Coming to Oshkosh this July for EAA AirVenture 2023? If so, your support would be greatly appreciated. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available to you.

Young Eagles at Youth Welcome Center — Located on the bustling Four Corners, the Youth Welcome Center will the central location for youths with an interest in aviation. Your assistance is needed to help educate families on the Young Eagles program and how they can register for a flight.

Young Eagles Special Events — EAA will once again be hosting the Young Eagles Awards Banquet on Tuesday, July 25, and a Young Eagles Volunteers Corn Roast on Thursday, July 27. Both of these events will require volunteer support. Duties will include checking in guests and assisting with set-up/clean-up.

EAA Blue Barn — Blue Barn staffing includes being on site during AirVenture to assist visitors in learning more about chapter life and the various chapter-related programs and activities, especially the very popular Young Eagles program. There is also an opportunity to assist with set-up and teardown.
