Attorney, Homebuilder Joins EAA Legal Advisory Council
January 3, 2019 - Attorney Justine Harrison, EAA 1080642, whose aviation background includes homebuilding activity, has joined EAA’s Legal Advisory Council, which helps the association and fellow members with aviation legal questions and guidance.
Harrison is a multi-engine, instrument-rated pilot who has built experimental category aircraft and owned and operated other airplanes. Her legal and aviation experience gives her a deep understanding of aviation issues, with a diverse client base that includes Part 135 charter companies, part 145 repair stations, flight schools, and unmanned (UAS/UAV) aviation companies.
Harrison also regularly co-presents on FAA enforcement topics with FAA legal and inspection staff members. She is also a board member for Angel Flight West, which serves 13 states in the West and Southwest.
EAA’s Legal Advisory Council consists of practicing attorneys throughout the U.S. who specialize in all facets of aviation law. The council regularly provides guidance to EAA headquarters on aviation issues and also hosts forums and workshops during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh.
