Take your wedding to new heights at EAA’s world-class facilities situated on more than 1,600 acres of lush grounds. We have a variety of indoor and outdoor venues for your wedding ceremony and reception, as well as any other activities surrounding your special day.

The EAA Aviation Museum proudly showcases more than 100 aircraft and galleries that provide a unique backdrop for your celebration. Our largest, and perhaps most visually impressive, space within the museum is the Eagle Hangar. Home to restored military aircraft, it creates a nostalgic atmosphere as your guests dine and dance the night away.

For the perfect combination of space and intimacy, consider the historic Founders’ Wing. It features a large main floor and a mezzanine level, where guests can enjoy viewing the Founders’ Library and EAA Legacy Wall while overlooking suspended aircraft and aviation artwork.

If you dream of an outdoor wedding ceremony or casual reception, consider the Leeward Plaza. Along with all the amenities of the museum, it’s also adjacent to EAA’s Pioneer Airport, a remarkable re-creation of a 1930s aerodrome that makes a stunning aviation backdrop.

Perhaps your idea of the perfect day starts with an intimate ceremony in our picturesque old-time chapel. Donated to the EAA grounds in 1981, Fergus Chapel is located next to a private pond, providing a gorgeous backdrop for photographs.

Another popular venue, the Nature Center Pavilion and pond is located in a beautiful wooded area and features a PA system and overhead doors that can bring in the sunshine or keep out the weather. Enjoy the rustic décor or customize it to suit your taste or theme.

Treat your guests to a two-story panoramic view from the beautiful Fergus Plaza, overlooking Leeward Plaza and the picturesque Pioneer Airport. It’s conveniently located on the lower level of the museum, just inside the main entrance and adjacent to a small catering kitchen.

Whether you are looking to host your ceremony, reception, a private luncheon, or a catered after-hours event, we have an event space to meet your needs. EAA facilities can accommodate groups up to 500 people and are located near several overnight accommodations for traveling guests.
