February 2024 –  EAA’s annual Learn to Fly Week is scheduled for May 13-18, 2024, with the week culminating on Saturday, May 18. This weeklong event will be focused on helping people achieve their dream of becoming a pilot. After five consecutive days of virtual presentations, the week will be capped on May 18 with Flying Start events hosted at local airports all around the country. Your chapter is encouraged to partake in these Flying Start events!

Hosting a Flying Start event will allow your chapter to welcome, encourage, and educate new aviation enthusiasts about the fun, freedom, and accessibility of personal aviation. This is also a great chapter recruitment opportunity!
