Chapter Fundraising Opportunities at EAA AirVenture
March 2017 - EAA chapters will have two new fundraising opportunities at EAA AirVenture 2017. EAA is looking for chapters to assist with the sale of event programs and the sale of ice. One chapter will be needed for ice sales and one for program sales. Chapters will be assigned to their volunteer area on a first come, first served basis.
Ice Sale Details
- Volunteers needed Wednesday, July 19, to Sunday, July 30.
- The chapter will be paid a $1,000 commission at the end of August.
- There will be five different time slots that will need to be filled.

July 19 to July 30 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. 6 volunteers per day
July 19 to July 30 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. 4 volunteers per day
July 19 to July 30 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. 4 volunteers per day
July 23 to July 30 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. 2 volunteers per day
July 23 to July 30 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. 2 volunteers per day
- All volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid driver’s license.
- It is the chapter’s responsibility to ensure each shift is filled with the proper amount of volunteers.
- Volunteers are welcome to work as many or as few shifts as they would like, as long as the chapter ensures each shift has the proper coverage.
Program Sale Details
- Volunteers will be needed Sunday, July 23, to Sunday, July 30.
- Chapters will be paid $1 for each program sold, so bring your best selling skills!
- Programs will be sold at the main gate, in the blue parking lot, and along Celebration Way. Chapters can sell programs in additional locations if they would like.
- There will be one designated time slot for chapters to sell programs. However, they can sell longer if they would like to.
