General Aviation Joint Safety Committee

The General Aviation Joint Safety Committee was established in 1997 as part of the Safer Skies Initiative launched by the FAA and other industry leaders. GAJSC aims to find non-regulatory ways to improve general aviation safety through the analysis of aviation safety data. The ultimate goal is to reduce the general aviation fatal accident rate by identifying emerging issues and developing intervention strategies known as Safety Enhancements to prevent or mitigate problems contributing to GA accidents.

Visit the GAJSC website to learn more about its initiatives.
