MEDIA REGISTRATION NOW CLOSED
Media credential registration for EAA AirVenture 2024 is now closed. No new applications are being accepted, and no credential requests are accepted at the gate or during the event.
Approved media outlets have been notified. The primary contact for each approved media outlet has received a list of individuals who are approved for credentials.
Any questions or late substitutions ONLY (no additions) for media outlets already approved may be directed to Dick Knapinski at communications@eaa.org.
Media registration for EAA AirVenture 2025 (July 21-27, 2024) will begin in March 2025.
MEDIA CREDENTIAL PICK-UP FOR APPROVED MEDIA OUTLETS
If you are part of the pre-approved media contingent for AirVenture 2023, the check-in facility is the Quonset hut at the corner of Poberezny Road and Waukau Avenue, the same location as in 2023.
If you are arriving at Wittman Regional Airport in a private aircraft, you may pick up your credentials at Press HQ during its regular hours. All others must go to the Check-In Hut.

Friday, July 19: 8 am – 3 pm
Saturday, July 20: 8 am – 5 pm
Sunday, July 21: 8 am – 5 pm
Monday, July 22: 7 am – 6 pm
Tuesday, July 24 through Friday, July 26: 7 am – 5 pm
Saturday, July 27: 8 am – 4 pm
Sunday, July 28: 9 am – 12 noon

We strongly recommend that you exit Highway 41 at the Highway 26 exit instead of Highway 44, then go north on Poberezny Road to the check-in hut. If you do exit at Highway 44 and come to the grounds by driving past the EAA museum, we suggest that you get in the far right lane as you pass the museum, go south on Poberezny Road to the campground entrance, then turn around and come back to the check-in area.
*NOTE* Media check-in and credentials are for registered working media only. No guest passes are distributed. All family members, friends, etc., will be directed to the AirVenture admission gates to purchase admission.
