AirVenture 2022 R.C. Flying at Pioneer Field Guidelines

Hours:

Monday - Saturday: 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Note: Friday operations will end at 8:15 p.m.

As with all Oshkosh operations, safety is the top priority. EAA's policy uses much of the existing Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) model aircraft safety code, and those operating these aircraft at Pioneer Airport are required to be AMA members. (AMA will have membership staff on hand for those wishing to join.) AMA will also have a safety officer on-site providing guidance during all operations.

This policy is not applicable to KidVenture or any AirVenture acts incorporating drone/sUAS/model aircraft as part of their performance.
