Sarah Pagano
Sarah PaganoSarah’s love of aviation began when she attended a youth aviation summer camp hosted by her local EAA chapter. After her first Young Eagles flight she was hooked.
While she is not a pilot, her passion continued and she became very active in Chapter 1093. Now, many years later, she is the president of the chapter and the director of the same aviation camp she once attended. She is an advocate for aviation education, especially with youth, and is a regular ground volunteer at Young Eagles events.
Sarah graduated from Western Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in aviation management and operations and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in aviation and aerospace management from Purdue University.
Sarah currently works as airport manager at the airport where her story began, Jack Barstow Airport (KIKW) in Midland, Michigan. She lives in Midland with her husband and six-year-old son, who both share her love of aviation.
Sarah firmly believes in sharing The Spirit of Aviation and strives to do so in her everyday life. She is honored to be named to the Chapter Advisory Council and will strive to continue to support the mission of EAA and to help chapters inspire, support, and encourage the love of aviation that we all hold so dear.
