Eric is the President and CEO of Immanuel, a senior living and health care organization based in Omaha Nebraska and present throughout the Midwest region. He is a skilled financial and operational professional with more than 30 years of senior housing and health care experience. Eric excels in the areas of strategic planning, implementation and reporting for not-for-profit organizations. Eric advocates on behalf of older adults both within the Immanuel organization and more globally.

As an avid pilot, Eric enjoys all things aviation related. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Experimental Aircraft Association located Oshkosh, Wisconsin from 2005 to 2013 and rejoined the Board in 2020 and is a member of the Finance Committee. He joined the EAA Foundation Board in 2015 and currently serves as the Vice President.

An introductory flight received as a gift from his wife ignited his passion for aviation. Having first bought a restored Cherokee 140 to complete his training, he became a generation 1 adopter of a Cirrus SR20. After many years of use of the Cirrus, he has just completed a full overhaul of the plane to make it new again.

In addition to his EAA activities, Eric serves on the Lutheran Services in America Board of Directors and currently serves as Board Vice Chairperson and also serves on the Finance Committee. Lutheran Services in America is a diverse association of Lutheran sponsored providers of health and social services across the nation.

Eric joined the Board of Directors of the Omaha Symphony in 2012 and serves on its Finance and Investment Committees. In addition, Eric serves in various governance roles with Lutheran Giving and Nebraska Lutheran Outdoor Ministries.

Originally from the east coast, Eric resides in Omaha, Nebraska with his wife Donna and daughter Olivia.
