Calling All Volunteers: AirVenture Help Is Needed at the Blue Barn and Camp Scholler Chapters Pavilion
April 2021 – We are looking for energetic volunteers who are passionate about sharing the magic of EAA chapters and Young Eagles with EAA AirVenture Oshkosh attendees.
The EAA Blue Barn is the home to chapters and Young Eagles during AirVenture, and this is the place where chapter members and leaders come to learn more about all things related to chapters and the Young Eagles program.
The EAA chapters and Young Eagles teams are looking for volunteers to help with AirVenture preparation and staffing at the Blue Barn during AirVenture, the Chapters Pavilion, our corn roast, and a little wrap-up activity.
Blue Barn staffing includes being on-site during AirVenture to assist visitors in learning more about chapter life and the various chapter-related programs and activities, especially the very popular Young Eagles program. For those who wish to volunteer days before AirVenture, volunteer opportunities are available to assist with the final setup in the Blue Barn or at the Chapters Pavilion located in Camp Scholler.
All New in 2021! Returning 2019 AirVenture Blue Barn volunteers are already credited for 2021 admission wristbands, while all first-time Blue Barn volunteers will earn complimentary wristbands in 2021 to be used in 2022. Please note that all 2021 AirVenture chapter and Young Eagles volunteers will use their 2021 volunteer hours toward AirVenture 2022, as is the case when volunteering around AirVenture. A minimum of 20 hours of volunteer time total at AirVenture is required to be eligible for volunteer 2022 benefits.
