EAA Chapter 1522 Continues Building RC Airplanes with Area Youth

November 2020 – Upon the very recent and highly successful completion of building and flying the EAA Build and Fly program RC airplane with kids, EAA chapter 1522 in Cynthiana, Kentucky, is moving onto another youth program. Chapter president Gordon Davis explained that the kids, the parents, and the EAA chapter members had so much fun building and flying the EAA E-Kadet RC model that they simply wanted to keep coming back to the chapter to do more. It didn't take long for the chapter to decide to start building control line airplanes next.

We had fun getting started on our Tough Baby control line planes last Saturday," Chapter 1522 member Kyle Mickelwait said. "Tomorrow, we will meet again to assemble the fuselage parts to the wings we cut since then. We are building three airframes total with the one I am building ahead being the example for the next step."
