October Webinar

December 2018 - In October, we had a most informative webinar session presented by the North American Trainer Association. NATA is committed to improving the safety record of owners and operators of North American Aviation military aircraft (primarily trainers), and maintaining an excellent safety record at its formation clinics. The committee maintains a database of mishaps related to these aircraft, conducts research and analysis of these data, and develops policies and programs to help prevent mishaps.

Safety Officer Bruce Mayes and President Larry “Lumpy” Lumpkin provided a thorough overview of NATA’s structure and objectives and offered a deeper dive into several programs that it has built to maintain safe operations, especially for the challenging venue of formation flight. It was an engaging and thought-provoking session. If you were not able to attend live, you can review the recorded webinar.
