EAA MEMBERS CAN NOW RECEIVE WEEKLY PERSONALIZED UPDATES ON BEST LOCAL AVIATION EVENTS

EAA AVIATION CENTER, OSHKOSH, Wisconsin —(July 21, 2019) — The Experimental Aircraft Association and the developers of SocialFlight.com and the SocialFlight mobile apps have joined forces to offer EAA members customized aviation newsletters delivered weekly to their email inbox that include upcoming local aviation events.

“Our annual member survey confirmed what our website traffic data showed—finding events and places to fly is a significant interest of EAA members,” said Cory Puuri, EAA Membership Development Manager. “While EAA’s calendar of events is a powerful tool for finding events, members asked us to deliver localized event information to their email inbox so they can plan where to fly. Since SocialFlight has become known for its cross-platform aviation event information distribution, they were a logical partner to help us launch such a service.”

EAA members can sign-up for the EAA Aviation Event Newsletter at EAA.org/EventNews. The process is simple: sign in to the EAA website, click a button to sign-up for the newsletter, and a customized registration page opens on SocialFlight, pre-filled with your basic information from EAA so that the newsletters can be customized to your location.

Later this year, EAA and SocialFlight will roll-out additional program features to help EAA members find event information and encourage them to fly including: integration of aviation calendars, exclusive giveaways for EAA members who fly to events and check-in on the SocialFlight mobile app, and more.
