EAA Staff Mourns Passing of Katrina Bradshaw
November 18, 2013 - The EAA staff is mourning the passing of our colleague, Katrina Bradshaw, who died Saturday, November 16, after a battle with cancer.
Katrina, who had more than 25 years of experience in the aviation industry, first joined EAA in 2004 to lead EAA's membership marketing efforts. She left EAA in 2006 for other opportunities, including at the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA). Katrina later returned to EAA as part of its business development team, including in the areas of advertising and AirVenture sponsorships. Her relationships and contacts within the aviation community were extremely valuable as EAA built its advertising, exhibitor and sponsor relationships.
Katrina will be greatly missed both personally and professionally for her ability, personality and enthusiasm. Her love for EAA, our members, and our volunteers will never be forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers go to her husband, Jerry; her son, Nick; and her family.
Memorial services for Katrina will be held at 1:30 p.m. (EST) on Friday, Nov. 22, at the Linganore United Methodist Church in Union Bridge, Md.
