Learn Latest on Electric Aircraft at CAFE Symposium
April 2, 2013 - Limited space is available to attend the seventh annual CAFE Electric Aircraft Symposium, which convenes April 26-27 at the Flamingo Resort in Santa Rosa, California.
This year's symposium theme is "Transforming Transportation With Electric Aircraft," and will feature presentations on cutting edge topics such as ultra-quiet propellers, motors, high lift, ESTOL charging and energy management, speed records, UAVs, electric LSA, nano-tech structures, safety devices, and autonomous Sky Taxis.
Some of the presenters scheduled to appear include electric aircraft racer Chip Yates, Chief NASA Scientist Dennis Bushnell, PADA trophy recipient Tine Tomazic of Pipistrel, and author Dan Raymer. (See program schedule)
Additionally, Friday, April 26, will conclude with three themed dinners for symposium guests to choose from: Motors/Controllers/Propulsion/Quietude, Aeronautical Design and Aviation, and Energy: Expert Panel Discussion. Attendees can interact with esteemed faculty members and hear expert topical presentations.
