EAA Sport Aviation Now Available Through Sporty's, Reaching More Aviators
Broader aviation audience gets glimpse into EAA through award-winning magazine
Aviators can now obtain EAA Sport Aviation though Sporty's.
January 24, 2012 – Single issues and subscriptions of the award-winning EAA Sport Aviation magazine are now available through Sporty's Pilot Shop, bringing the stories of EAA and its membership to broader aviation segments and audiences.
"EAA is comprised of a passionate community of aviators, and we want those who are on the outside to get a peek into what we are all about," said EAA President/CEO Rod Hightower, who announced plans last spring for expanding Sport Aviation's reach to even more aviators. "Through this partnership with Sporty's, the EAA story will reach more people as we grow participation in aviation."
Each month, Sport Aviation delivers the world of flight in a unique way, with popular features on aircraft building and restoring tips, new innovations, and what EAA members are building and restoring.
Renowned aviation writers J. Mac McClellan and Lane Wallace, along with experienced builders, instructors, and aviators, add their unique perspectives in a number of monthly columns, plus hands-on practical instruction for those with current or future aircraft projects.
Sport Aviation readers also enjoy EAA-member reviews of flight products, expert opinions on key aviation topics, updates on key government issues facing aviators, upgraded avionics coverage, columns on ultralights and lightplanes, and much more.
Single copies are available through Sporty's for $4.95 each and a 12-month subscription is available for $45. Visit the Sporty's website to place orders or call 513-735-9000.
As always, EAA members receive Sport Aviation along with other valuable benefits – including discounted EAA AirVenture Oshkosh admission – as part of their membership. Click here to join or renew.
