Safe Flight Donates $50,000 to Corporate Angel Network

January 12, 2012 - Safe Flight Instrument Corporation, of White Plains, New York, has donated $50,000 to Corporate Angel Network (CAN), an organization that places cancer patients in unused seats aboard business aircraft so they can get to and from treatment in far-off locations.
“We have believed firmly in the role of this unique charitable organization since its beginning in 1981,” said Randall Greene, Safe Flight’s president/CEO and CAN’s chairman of the board. “Its work to sustain the lives of so many cancer patients requires continuous support and we are proud to be among the many companies who see this need and act on it.”
CAN is comprised of 530 participating corporations, 50 part-time volunteers, and six paid staff who work with patients, physicians, corporate flight departments, and leading treatment centers to coordinate the medical travel needs of cancer patients.
