Hands-on Aviation Activities at EAA’s Kids Days

December 15, 2011 – Hands-on aviation activities will give children a holiday-break treat at EAA’s Kids Days, held daily from Monday, December 26, through Saturday, December 31, at the EAA AirVenture Museum in Oshkosh. From 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. each day, the museum’s younger visitors can enjoy a variety of aviation-related activities that will educate and spark their curiosity in flight, including:
- “Houston, We May Have an Omelet” Egg Drop Challenge
- Paper Airplane Building and Contests
- Stamp Scavenger Hunt
- Movies in the Skyscape Theater
- Coloring Tables
- Craft Area
- KidVenture Gallery
All of the above activities are included with regular admission (students age 6-17, $7; children ages 5 and under, free; family rate of two adults plus children, $22). EAA members receive free admission. The MaxFlight Simulator located in the KidVenture wing of the museum is also available for an additional $6.
