October 6, 2011 – EAA’s Young Eagles program is the featured cover story on this month’s issue of Airplanista, an online publication produced by Dan Pimentel, EAA 1073301, of Eugene, Oregon. The cover photo, shot by EAA Chief Photographer Jim Koepnick, shows Young Eagles Co-Chairman Jeff Skiles beside his Waco biplane along with several Young Eagles, and the story, “EAA’s Young Eagles: Producing Our Future Aviators,” is the centerpiece of the issue’s focus on Aviation’s Next Generation.
