Stop and See us at AOPA Aviation Summit

September 16, 2011 – EAA will participate in the annual AOPA Aviation Summit next week, which gets under way Thursday, September 22, and runs through Saturday, September 24, at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, Connecticut. Members planning to attend the summit are invited to stop by the EAA exhibit to say hello, get answers to membership questions, and learn about preliminary plans for AirVenture Oshkosh 2012.
EAA President/CEO Rod Hightower will head a contingent of EAA staff members at the summit and appearing at the EAA exhibit. Hightower will also appear with AOPA President Craig Fuller during the Saturday Keynote and Pancake Breakfast, share their ideas about opening aviation to a new generation of pilots. Get the inside scoop on scholarship and other incentive programs from AOPA and EAA, their ongoing work to lower the student pilot dropout rate, the EAA Young Eagles program, and more. Breakfast will be served promptly at 8 a.m.
