They’re Here…
Pair of Skycatchers arrive in Oshkosh

C-162 Serial Numbers 002 and 003 arrive at EAA's Weeks hangar at Wittman Regional Airport.

EAA multimedia journalist Brady Lane and EAA Founder Paul Poberezny tour the cockpit of one of EAA’s C-162 Skycatchers that were delivered to EAA on May 27, 2010.
May 27, 2010 —At 4:19 p.m. Wednesday, two new Cessna Skycatchers, which were donated to EAA by The Buehler Trust, landed at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh from Wichita, Kansas. N51986 and N5198Y will be used in EAA’s Air Academy and Young Eagles program efforts.
EAA volunteer pilot Kevin Loppnow, a Gold Seal CFII from Wisconsin Aviation in Watertown, Wis., called the flight “awesome” and noted the airplane (N51986) flew great. PIC for N5198Y Mike Hoy simply said, “They nailed the aircraft.” Also on hand to greet the newest additions to the EAA fleet were EAA Founder Paul and Audrey Poberezny. Paul called it “a nice looking little airplane.”
