It's Time to Fly!
First International Learn to Fly Day is Saturday
May 13, 2010 — EAA chapters, aviation groups and businesses, FBOs, and even individual pilots are gearing up for Saturday’s International Learn to Fly Day, set for Saturday, May 15. At last count, there are 440 events scheduled where non-pilots can learn more about aviation and what it takes to become a pilot. See a preview of several events below.
EAA is encouraging each member to introduce aviation to someone new this weekend, then keep the excitement going by offering them a complimentary 6-month EAA membership. Look for the special insert in the May edition of Sport Aviation, or click here for more information.
Attention, event organizers: After your event, let us know how things went by sending photos and event details to learntoflyday@eaa.org. There’s also an online survey for you to complete.
Let’s go flying!
