November 6, 2008 — The Prescott, Arizona, campus of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University will host a full slate of EAA SportAir Workshop courses the weekend of January 10-11, 2009, at ERAU’s state-of-the-art flight department at Ernest Love Field. This will be the first SportAir Workshops held in the region in eight years.

Courses offered include Fabric Covering; Sheet Metal; Composites; Electrical; and What's Involved in Kitbuilding. The workshop location is ideal for EAA members and other aspiring airplane builders/restorers in the Phoenix, Flagstaff, Prescott, and surrounding areas.

Mark Forss, coordinator of the EAA SportAir Workshops, looks forward to EAA’s return to this area of the country. “We've had tremendous interest in offering the workshops in Arizona and we are very excited to work with Embry Riddle, who is generously providing its top-notch facilities to host this important and popular program to our members who reside in the area.” He said.
