Sun 'n Fun

March 27, 2008 — The annual opening to the summer flying season - the Sun 'n Fun Fly-In at Lakeland, Florida - is less than two weeks away and EAA is busy preparing for the journey south. EAA staff and volunteers have historically been enthusiastic participants at the fly-in and we're expecting that and then some throughout the week of April 8-13.

Not only do EAA members receive a special discount on admissions, once inside the gate they'll enjoy a variety of special perks. Once again, we'll have the centrally located EAA Member Village, featuring a number of specials exclusively for EAA members as well as exclusive EAA merchandise.

  • Looking for the best aircraft insurance coverage at the best price? Check out the EAA Aircraft Insurance Plan kiosk at Member Village. Simply complete and submit an online request for an insurance quote and you'll receive a free EAA hat!
  • You can also learn more about the EAA Calendar of Events, the world's largest aviation events calendar. Give the online calendar a test drive and receive a free mouse pad.
  • Throughout the week, when you Purchase your AirVenture 2008 advance tickets at EAA Member Village, you'll receive a FREE Oshkosh: The Spirit of Aviation DVD.
  • Member Village visitors can enter the Share the Spirit Sweepstakes for a chance to win the Grand Prize Cirrus SR-20 or second prize RotorWay International's A600 Talon kit.

(Special promotional gifts available while supplies last.)

EAA Day is Wednesday, April 9. Along with special offers at EAA Member Village, be on the lookout for the EAA Prize Patrol. Remember to wear your EAA Member button and you could win! (Buttons distributed at the admission gate.)
