Still Room For You at Upcoming EAA SportAir Workshops

January 10, 2008 — EAA SportAir Workshops has a variety of courses scheduled in 2008 that can help you realize your dream of building your own airplane. Here are some of the great course offerings coming up shortly:

The popular Van's RV Aircraft Assembly course will be offered at historic Flabob Airport March 1-2 at Riverside, California. Hands-on practice will give you experience in the required techniques for assembling your RV. Other topics include amateur-built aircraft FARs, required tools, workshop requirements, engine and propeller selection, flight-testing and more.

Three ELSA Repairman-Inspection courses are scheduled in March: In Oshkosh March 7-9; Lantana, Florida March 14-15; and Riverside, California, March 28-30. The course will allow you to obtain a Repairman/Inspection certificate for your airplane certificated in the Experimental Light-Sport Aircraft (E-LSA) category.

EAA will offer a comprehensive SportAir Workshop session in Dallas, Texas, at Love Field March 1-2, including Sheet Metal Construction, Composites, Fabric Covering, Electrical Systems, and Test Flying Your Homebuilt project.

And there's still space available in next weekend's SportAir TIG Welding workshop (January 18-19) in Griffin, Georgia. To learn more, or register for these and other SportAir Workshops, visit www.sportair.com or call 800-967-5746.
