Rocky Mountain EAA Regional Fly-In Under Way

 

June 22, 2007 —The Rocky Mountain EAA Regional Fly-In is up and running through Sunday at Front Range Airport in Watkins, Colorado. Today's activities will be followed by Saturday's "Salute to the Military" day, with the awards dinner that evening. Sunday features the Front Line air show. All kinds of aircraft will be on display, along with aviation exhibits, safety seminars, children's activities, forums and workshops, and plenty of food on the grounds. EAA's Ron Wagner, manager of field relations, will present several forums including "Learn To Fly Now" at 11:30 a.m. Saturday; and an EAA sport pilot update at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. NAFI vice presidents Sandy and JoAnn Hill will also present two forums, including Hot Topics For Flight Instructors (Saturday, 9:30 a.m.); and Learn to Fly - Ask Me How (Sunday, 11:30 a.m.).
