Arlington Fly-In Begins Today

July 5, 2006 — The Arlington EAA Fly-In, EAA'S largest regional fly-in event, gets under way today, July 5, and runs through Sunday, July 9, at Arlington Municipal Airport, Washington. EAAers in the Northwest can experience a full slate of forums and workshops, exhibits, and air shows. This year also includes EAA's Light-Sport Aircraft Mall showcase for new LSA-qualified aircraft; and a splash-in event sponsored by the Washington Seaplane Pilots Association at nearby Lake Goodwin.

Other returning attractions include Paul Allen's Flying Heritage Collection featuring rare World War I and II planes; the night air show with fireworks at dusk Friday; and Saturday's Hot Air Balloon Night Glow. Arlington also features more than 150 exhibitors, daily air shows, and military fly bys. For the latest information on the 38th annual event, visit www.NWEAA.org.
