Orders For EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2007 Highlight DVD Now Being Accepted
DVD To Be Officially Released November 1
EAA AVIATION CENTER, OSHKOSH, Wis. - (October 8, 2007) — Pre-release orders are now being accepted for the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2007 highlights DVD, which features some of the best features from "The World's Greatest Aviation Celebration," held at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh on July 23-29.
The AirVenture DVD features segments that are also available through the www.airventure.org website. This special compilation of the people, airplanes and events at Oshkosh this summer is a superb souvenir of the event that is back by popular demand.
"As EAA significantly upgraded its online video capabilities this year, it was intended to save people the time spent waiting for the annual DVD to arrive in their homes," said Adam Smith, EAA vice president of outreach programs. "Many EAA members and other aviation enthusiasts still sought the chance to complete their own Oshkosh video collections, so we listened to their requests and are making the DVD available."
This 75-minute DVD is a collection of the most popular online segments, including such AirVenture 2007 highlights as the Goodyear blimp, F-22 Raptors, EAA's Seaplane Base and North 40 aircraft campground, and personalities such as astronaut Jim Lovell and actor/pilot Morgan Freeman. Anticipated release/shipping date is November 1, just in time for the holiday season.
The DVD is $19.95, plus shipping and handling, as is available through the online store at http://shop.eaa.org or by calling 800-JOIN-EAA (800-564-6322). The video will also be available through EAA's merchandise catalog available later in October.
