EAA Member From Utah Claims Ford Mustang Prize
If one ever needs a good reason to break out of a Zoom call, this might be it! Brian Mickelsen, EAA 1318457, of South Jordan, Utah, got a phone message from EAA that interrupted his Zoom conversation with the news that he had won the 2024 Ford Mustang GT Premium, the grand prize in this year’s Young Eagles Raffle!
Brian hopped on the first flight back to Wisconsin and on Wednesday took ownership of the car. He had purchased two raffle tickets while at AirVenture and was stunned to get the news that he had won.
Thank you to everyone who purchased raffle tickets to support our youth education outreach programs at EAA! In total, 1,200 tickets were sold, and approximately $60,000 was raised for the Young Eagles program.
