First day of school

Today, I had that first day of school feeling. 

You know, where you get a new bag, all these new books and for some strange reason you think you’re going to read every textbook cover to cover.

I’ve been waiting so long to begin that when Jason told me I had homework, I was excited.  It’s been a long time since I’ve been excited about homework. Since I’ve had my fair share of “first day of school” experiences, I know this honeymoon phase will likely fade, but I’m going to enjoy it as long as it lasts.

Jason hand-selected these books from ASA’s offerings.  Since the sport pilot ruling is still fairly young, Jason combined some private pilot material with sport pilot material.  Since sport pilot is growing so rapidly, I’m sure we’ll soon be seeing more publishers creating packages specific to sport pilot training.

(ASA graciously donated the above curriculum for this project.  I have, however, calculated the value of the materials into my training cost to reflect a normal training experience.)
